When ‘Plan A’ Doesn’t Work…

Early evening again Sunshine’s! Wow, looks like I just may  make a habit of “tuning in” earlier rather than later.  In all seriousness, it’s been a very interesting day with a good many hours dedicated to some research, reflection and relaxation — not necessarily in that order.  But who would have thought running a business form one’s bed would actually work? Yes I know — poor me. But no seriously now before you get all envious allow me to proceed.

Plan A

This morning began normal as usual but I was feeling a tad bit “out of sorts” if you know what I mean — it felt as if I were trying too hard to get things work.  Of course this kind of “mojo” doesn’t work for the “uber” when there are deadlines to meet, clients to coach, conference calls to facilitate and one massive GWS2012 to continue to coordinate (can someone please ring up Kristen Chenoweth – I need  a singer pronto!)

As much as I attempted to finish/accomplish/but an end to things (business wise), more seemed to pile up on my desk/to-do-list/in my head and I began to think: “Something isn’t correct here.”  The energy was all wrong and whenever that happens, I know myself well enough to know — it’s time for a “time out uber!”

You see I’ve learned a tiny little trick that I would like very much to share with you. That trick is this: whenever I begin to feel the activity/person/thought/place that I am engaged in produces an energy of sluggishness/tiredness/aggravation/anxiety — I know it’s time to pull back/take-a-time-out/rethink/re-assess/re-charge and sometimes all of the above. Our inner wisdom, which springs from our CORE, is a vast pool of knowledge if we would just take the time to “check-in” once in a while instead of forging ahead blindly.

…because when it’s all said and done, even if you had your heart set on ‘Plan A,’ never loose sight of the fact there are letters B thru Z to still work with ;) Take it in stride, do it with pride and take the time to allow your inner wisdom to guide you along the way.  It’s much more fun — I promise you.

I’ll see you on the flip side of dusk :) .
